Marvila

Marvila is the Lisbon the postcards skip. East of the centre, past Santa Apolónia, the city turns to concrete grain silos, crimson warehouse walls and railway lines running down to the Tejo. These Marvila prints are shot across that post-industrial edge — lone chimneys against a split dusk sky, birds on a cracked cornice, a yellow sun caught between storm cloud and corrugated iron.
