Abi Abiassi's work documents the routine of day-to-day while witnessing the ever-accelerating gentrification of old neighbourhoods, the springing up of modernist concrete giants, and the barely functional industrial zones. Beyond Lisbon, his practice extends to New York and Tokyo, exploring the elements shared by big capitals and how light binds them together.
